Tres Rios Lily Was Here
5/21/18
SIRE: Tres Rios TC Ocotillo VEE 88 @ 3 (Desert Nanny Trump Card *B VEE 88 @ 4 x SG Joyful Hearts Lilyofthevalley VEEV 89 @ 2)
DAM: Tres Rios BR Milky Way VVEE 88 @ 2 (CH Algedi Farm JD Shotgun Wedding *B VEE 86 x Bellafire GT Avalon)
Lily is such a lovely doe, where do I start? She is dairy, with a lovely lean neck. She also has great rear legs, and excellent length of body with a level topline, things that I love to see in my herd.
I am hoping that as she grows she will inherit her sires wide, wide rump.
Ocotillo scored 42 on rump width during his appraisal as a 3 year old, and 30 as a yearling buck. Lily's dam is a very promising young doe, one of Heidi's best animals. Her udder is spectacular, and I expect nothing less on Lily one day. I love this pairing so much, I also have Lily's littermate brother Wild Card, and I believe that these two will do great things in my herd.
Lily is by far a much more laid back kid than her BFF Calamity. She is has a sweet, shy personality, which is very endearing to me. If she wants your attention, she nibbles your back or leg until you notice her. I was so excited when she earned her dry leg at the Motherlode show. It was a huge class of 24 other does. So proud of her
